Snapshot of your dayAs HVDC Control & Protection Hardware Project Lead, you will work within a team of HVDC project management and technical specialists to craft and deliver complete HVDC control and protection solutions for wind farm and interconnector grid connections. Working with the HVDC C&P Project Manager and the CP organization, you will be required to deliver technical work packages in line with project and business objectives.How You’ll Make an Impact
You are responsible for preparing offers and project management for the hardware of control and protection systems (Control & Protection) for high-voltage direct current transmission systems (HVDC) regarding deadlines, costs, and quality.
You will supervise the technical management of the C&P Hardware offer / order processing team and will coordinate closely with the project management and the technical specialists from various hardware engineering areas.
Your responsibility includes planning, monitoring, and controlling the offer / order processing including technical conception, delimitation of the scope of delivery, scheduling / resource planning, costing, costing, quality control and management of opportunities and risks
Your tasks also include reporting, information management, revision, and order completion as well as the implementation of process and design reviews
What You Bring
BS degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, electrical power engineering or a comparable degree.
10+ years of experience in Substation Protection & Control design, as well as experience in project management.
Ideally, you have intercultural experience and are willing to go on business trips (customer clarification, IBS support) up to 30%.
Proven knowledge of HVDC technology and systems engineering.
Extensive knowledge in dealing with MS Office applications and PM tools to round off your profile.
You communicate fluently in English.
