I further attest that all information I submit in my employment application is true to the best of my knowledge.Job DescriptionThe Neuroscience District Business Manager has direct responsibility to lead a team of Sales Representatives who promote Takeda's Neuroscience product(s).The Neuroscience District Business Manager plans and implements district sales plans and coaches and develops sales representatives to maximize opportunity for the organization. You will lead the district sales team; provide support, develop sales team members; build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and manage the district sales business operations (e.g. procedures, budgets, sales and account data, etc.)ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Develop and implement market-based business strategies that achieves sales goals, maximizes exposure and opportunities for company products. Develop business plans through analyzing data, conducting account analysis and evaluating market data

Evaluate business opportunities and strategies providing recommendations and solutions to challenges.

Build a sales team by hiring, onboarding and development of District sales Team. Create the appropriate DE&I environment that supports learning and growth for short- and long-term success, development and retention of talent.

Implement sales and marketing programs to support Takeda's plans for U.S. growth in assigned district. Hold themselves and representatives accountable for all elements of the job, including achieving sales goals, selling skills and territory management.

Ensure full compliance of all selling activities within the area of responsibility to the standards of all State and Federal regulations.

Developing professional working relationships with internal partners, works cross-functionally and serves as liaison with other departments, and other sales and marketing personnel.

Work with Regional and National Account Managers to stay up to date on managed market issues in district and implement programs to maximize sales.

Collaborate with Manage Markets partners to achieve shared sales and product access goals.

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree – BS/BA

Minimum of 2 years of people management level experience in the pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device industries which may include district management, specialty account management, or 1 year of people management plus 1 year of cross functional experience (i.e. marketing, training, etc.). Will also consider internal candidates who have people leadership interim experience (i.e. TIDE) or have completed a Takeda formal leadership development program (i.e. LEAP).

Decide on actions swiftly and develop strategic plans.

Demonstrated ability to coach, empower, motivate, attract and retain talent of a team

Demonstrated the ability to gather and analyze insights from the marketplace, plan the business and focus on key priorities and important success factors

Excellent verbal and written skills. Experience presenting.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate by working with others to succeed and communicate direction with influence and effect

Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography

Neuroscience experience

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Valid driver's license.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

You will have the ability to drive to or fly to meetings/client sites to work with sales professionals attend meetings on a local and national basis, and training.

Overnight travel to support district

Travel 50-75% dependent on District boundaries
