Professional Services Consultant - LIS Administration

DescriptionEssential Functions

Consult pre-sale and post-sale with critical stakeholders to ensure project scope aligns with contracted customer expectations.

Conduct implementations demonstrating a thorough knowledge and understanding of department procedures and guidelines.

Guide the client's decision-making to achieve maximum efficiency using Clinisys best practice recommendations.

Conduct product training for the client as part of the overall implementation process.

Provide input to process improvements by monitoring both client and departmental feedback.

Travel to client sites to install Clinisys software products following department procedures and guidelines

Maintain an elevated level of commitment to superior customer satisfaction throughout the customer relationship.

Both individually and as a part of a team, troubleshooting, debugging, and testing technical solutions.

Provide ongoing support and training to laboratory staff and stakeholders on LIMS usage and best practices.

Document system configurations, procedures, and any changes for reference and compliance purposes

Other duties, as assigned, will contribute to the success of our company and the solutions we deploy.

Skills

Ability to work independently and effectively manage projects and priorities from start to finish;

Strong understanding of client/ laboratory workflow concepts relative to software applications with solid knowledge of interfaces;

Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels of the organization;

Ability to understand how multiple systems work together and ability to make recommendations;

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

Able to provide mentoring and consultation to improve workflow processes and procedures;

Required Experience & Education

Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences/Pharma or Toxicology related degree

Minimum of 3 years of experience in laboratory management or laboratory informatics, with a strong understanding of LIMS systems and their applications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, concise documentation

Minimum three years' experience with SQL query writing and programming languages (C, Java, PL/SQL)

Familiarity with laboratory operations, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of industry-specific standards is a plus

Minimum three years' experience with API/Interfaces (HL7)

Minimum three years SQL database management and reporting tools
