As a core quality engineer for one of our OpenShift AI teams, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in one of our component teams as well as the affiliated open-source communities. You will work as part of an evolving development team to rapidly design, secure, build, test, and release new capabilities. The role is primarily an individual contributor who collaborates closely with other quality engineers and cross-functional teams. You should have a passion for working in open-source communities and for developing solutions that integrate with the company, open-source, and partner technologies into a cohesive platform.What you will do:● Contribute to the architecture, design, development of automated testing for new features and solutions● Innovate in the MLOps domain by participating in upstream communities● Ensure non-functional requirements including security, resiliency, and maintainability are met● Write integration and usability tests and work with software engineers to ensure product quality● Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing recommendations and technical knowledge with team members● Collaborate with product management, other engineering and cross-functional teams to analyze and clarify business requirements● Communicate effectively to stakeholders and team members to ensure proper visibility of quality efforts● Mentor and guide other quality engineers● Provide technical vision and leadership on critical and high impact projects● Write unit and integration tests and work with quality engineers to ensure product qualityWhat you will bring:● Experience in Kubernetes, OpenShift or other cloud-native technologies● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment● Strong experience testing applications in Go or Python, or other language● Ability to quickly learn and guide others on using new tools and technologies● Autonomous work ethic, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.● Experience with source code management tools such as Git● Proven ability to innovate and a passion for staying at the forefront of technology.The following will be considered a plus (use for all three):● While a Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related discipline is valued, we prioritize practical experience and technical prowess● Understanding of how Open Source and Free Software communities work● Experience with development for public cloud services (AWS, GCE, Azure)ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
