Required Skills (7+ Years):

  • Experience designing and implementing BizTalk, including working with lead architects to implement and integrate BizTalk in test and production.
  • Experience administering BizTalk including deployment, performance tuning, integration, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2008R2, 2012R2 administration.
  • Experience with Active Directory Administration, SQL Server and Exchange.
  • Experience consuming or creating WCF (WSI compliant) web services from a web platform.
  • Proficient with .NET C#, ASP.NET, PowerShell.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of applications development & deployment in a distributed environment.
  • Experience with VMWare virtualization technology.
Complete Description:
The BizTalk Administrator will build, configure, maintain, monitor and report on the BizTalk platform within a multi-tiered environment. The SOA BizTalk Administrator will be responsible for deployment and administration of BizTalk. This position will build, configure, maintain, monitor and report on the BizTalk platform, within a multi-tiered environment. The position will proactively work to meet the needs of IT projects that utilize BizTalk. The individual in this position will: Please make sure this person is comfortable with sitting on site and picking up their equipment. Plan/Design:
Work with IT project teams and Enterprise Architects analyzing business requirements and determining where they intersect with the BizTalk platform. At those intersections, the administrator will develop technical requirements as applicable to the SOA BizTalk environment. The incumbent will ensure all existing standards are properly followed and create new standards as necessary to ensure a good customer experience. Additionally the individual will plan for & design upgrade paths for BizTalk to ensure system availability. The administrator will document existing & future changes to the BizTalk Environment.

Implement:
Based on input from technical requirements from IT projects, IT Enterprise Architecture, IT Operations and IT Security, this individual will build and maintain the SOA BizTalk platform to current & future IT & Security standards. Maintain:
The Administrator will conduct regular systems tests; monitor test results, performance and other feedback; and take required corrective action for all test and production SOA Center environments to ensure a good customer experience. Manage OS & Product patching to ensure environment is current & stable. Support:
Work with NCDOT Helpdesk and Development staff to provide 3rd tier support when issues cannot be resolved at a lower level. Work with DOT Operations & EPS group to triage & maintain the SOA BizTalk environment when issues occur. This support include both during working hours and off-hour support. Waiting for your response
