Position SummaryPearson Education is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Director of Customer Success to lead and manage our Product Sales Specialists within Customer Success Team. This role is critical in driving sales across our College & Career Prep portfolio, which includes AP/Honors, Dual Enrollment, and General Education products to the secondary school market. The Sr. Director of Customer Success will partner closely with Business Development, Marketing, and Product Management and Regional Sales teams to ensure our specialists are equipped with the latest product information and strategies to meet and exceed sales targets as well as customer satisfaction objectives.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership and Management:

Oversee a team of 10 Product Sales Specialists and 4 Product Marketers and Professional Development partner engagement.

Ensure specialists have the most current information on program products and services in their portfolio by partnering with relevant product groups and pathways to provide product feedback on functionality.

Drive sales by product area against quota for specialists.

Lead professional development partnership efforts with the Professional Development and Business Development Manager.

Develop and maintain deep and current knowledge of product features and functions, deployment strategies, and product and services presentations.

Review and approve presentations to be shared across the team for continuity and consistency in delivery.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

Develop and implement sales strategies to drive product area sales and achieve quota for the assigned product portfolio in accounts nationwide.

Identify and develop new opportunities for the product portfolio in partnership with Marketing, Product GMs, Territory Reps, and Business Development Managers.

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure alignment with revenue targets.

Collaboration and Partnership:

Partner with Business Development to create and execute plans that drive customer success and product adoption.

Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Territory Reps to develop comprehensive sales plans and ensure cohesive execution.

Work with Professional Development to design and deliver training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.

Customer Engagement and Support:

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and support.

Engage with key customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that leverage Pearson’s product portfolio.

Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders within the customer base.

Implementation Management:

Oversee the implementation of product solutions for clients, ensuring that they are delivered on time and meet the required specifications.

Coordinate with internal teams to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.

Develop and maintain best practices for implementation processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales leadership, customer success, or a related field, with a strong background in education technology or courseware sales.

Proven track record of managing and leading high-performing sales teams.

Extensive knowledge of the K-12 and Higher Education markets, specifically in AP/Honors, Dual Enrollment, and General Education.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience in managing product implementation and deployment strategies.

Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and support the sales team.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.
