Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to assist a non-verbal autistic child. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism and possess a patient, understanding demeanor. This role is crucial in providing support during therapy sessions and everyday activities at home.
Responsibilities:
Assist the child with daily living activities, including feeding and bathing.
Drive the child to and from ABA therapy sessions and other appointments.
Support the child in following routines and schedules.
Create a safe and engaging environment for the child at home.
Monitor the child's behavior and progress, providing feedback to parents and therapists.
Collaborate with parents and therapists to implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children with autism or similar special needs is preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Patience, compassion, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to engage with children through play and educational activities.
First aid and CPR certification is a plus.
