Fulltime, solid, dependable experienced person for nighttime dishwasher at Radius Pizzeria & Pub. We can seat up to 170 guests and make about everything from scratch, so it's a busy pit.
Dishwasher Responsibilities:
- Keep a clean and organized workstation, follow safety guidelines and maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Follow our rules on which items to be HANDWASHED and which items machine washed.
- Daily test your chemical levels in the dish machine and the 3 compartment sink. If you don’t know how, we’ll teach you. Then you need to do it before EACH shift.
- Embrace a fast-paced environment, remain calm under pressure and maintain a professional and polite communication with your boh & foh co-workers.
- Put away clean plates and cookware.
- Keep mop sink clean and free of trash and food.
- Follow our composting and recycling protocols.
- Clean up messes in the restaurant and outside as needed and as you're able. If you've got a pile of dishes and I've got 2 FOH staff standing around, don’t worry, we’re not gonna ask you to clean up the spill in the dining room :-).
- Help out when needed and when you're not busy. Vacuum floors, clean bathrooms, help pull cooked chicken, juice citrus, put away inventory, clean walls, windows, etc.
- Cooperate with your team to clean down the kitchen nightly.
Dishwasher Requirements:
- You've got at least 2 years of experience, you care about your work, you're comfortable doing something differently if it's asked and you want to get along with your crew.
- You've got a keen eye for detail, making sure plastic isn't greasy, utensils don't have food stuck on them, etc.
- You're quick on your feet, able to prioritize tasks and manage your time efficiently.
- You're able to work evenings and weekends.
- You are an adult. Leave your personal problems at the back door. Don't give excuses. Come to work, work when you're at work, and leave when the job is done.
