We (Nantucket Grill, Raleigh) are a casual fine dining restaurant currently in need of a food expediter/runner who can work quickly and thrive in a fast paced setting.
Expo Role:
- Expediters work as an intermediary between our chefs and our waitstaff/take outs specialists. After the kitchen has prepared and plated the food, the expo is responsible for garnishing the dishes and organizing them by ticket for both dine-in and to-go orders. If time permits, the expo will deliver completed orders to dine-in guests.
Job Duties Include:
- Grouping entrees by order in a timely manner
- Ensuring all appetizer orders are sent out before entrée orders
- Add any required garnishes to each dish
- Organize and bag take-out orders
- Deliver food to tables
- Communicate with kitchen staff and waitstaff
- Prep work & cleaning duties

Weekends & holidays are required for this position
Schedule will include weekends and weeknight shifts
Hours of Operation Include:
Monday-Thursday 4:00-9:00pm
Friday 4:00-10:00pm
Saturday 11:00am-10:00pm
Sunday 11:00am-9:00pm
Starting pay is $7.25 plus a percentage of all dining room food sales. You can expect an average minimum of $15 per hour, with busier shifts earning more when looking at your base pay AND your sales percentage combined.
