Are you dependable, friendly, and take pride in a job well done? The Magnolia Inn in downtown Clayton is hiring a full-time team member to help prepare and serve breakfast and keep our historic inn clean, tidy, and welcoming for guests.
About the Job:
This is a hands-on role that combines simple breakfast cooking with light housekeeping and guest care. You’ll be a key part of our small, hardworking team that makes every stay special.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Cooking and serving made-to-order breakfast for up to 14 guests
- Cleaning up the kitchen and dining area after breakfast
- Housekeeping and room turnover (beds, bathrooms, common spaces)
- Laundry support (linens and towels)
- Light organizing, staging, and restocking of supplies
- Occasional guest interaction with a friendly attitude
Requirements:
️ Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
️ Comfortable cooking simple breakfasts (omelets, toast, coffee)
️ Ability to clean efficiently and thoroughly
️ Able to stand, bend, and lift (up to 25 lbs) throughout your shift
️ Positive attitude and ability to work independently
️ Must be available to work weekends (days off will be weekdays)
Work Schedule:
5 days/week (including Saturday & Sunday) - Available off days: Tuesday/Wednesday and/or Thursday
7am to 3pm
40 hours/week
$16/hour paid weekly
Bonus if you have:
