We are seeking a skilled and motivated Prep Cook to join our team at our high-volume Italian restaurant. The ideal candidate will have experience with Italian cuisine, be fast and efficient, and have the ability to follow recipes and directions with precision.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare ingredients according to recipe specifications and prep lists
-Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
-Proficient in cutting steaks, tenderizing meats, and filleting fish
-Follow instructions to ensure consistency and quality of all dishes
-Multitask effectively in a high-volume kitchen environment
-Work efficiently while adhering to food safety and cleanliness standards
-Assist with other kitchen duties as needed
Requirements:
-Proven experience in an Italian kitchen or with Italian food preparation
-Strong knife skills and proficiency in cutting steaks, tenderizing meats, and filleting fish
-Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and in a fast-paced environment
-Self-starter with a motivated and positive attitude
-Ability to follow directions and maintain consistent quality
-Flexible to work various shifts as needed, starting at 10:00 a.m.
-Proficient in English language
