Hosts are ambassadors for AC Restaurants within our community, and qualified candidates for this role exhibit exceptional people skills, hawk-eyed attention to detail, and grace under pressure. Hosts must create an authentic approach to hospitality through relationships with fellow team members, guests, and neighbors.
Job Description
Create an excellent first impression.
Welcome guests and escort them to their table.
Assign tables, coordinate sections, create and manage wait lists, and maintain communication with the restaurant staff pertaining to all aspects of service.
Answer phones and provide accurate information to phone inquiries.
Contribute to the overall dining experience through awareness of cleanliness, promptness, and execution of service.
Job Skills & Requirements
You must be at least 16 years of age.
You have the ability to maintain a professional appearance and a positive demeanor in a fast paced, energetic atmosphere.
You’re organized, dependable, and punctual.
You have excellent communication skills and proper phone etiquette.
You have excellent time management, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
You work well as part of a team and leave ego at the door.
You are a crusader for kindness and great hospitality.
You must be able to lift and carry at least 25 pounds and stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Compensation:
These are part-time or full-time, hourly, and overtime-eligible positions offering competitive pay and benefits.
