The principals of acclaimed Chapel Hill restaurants Hawthorne & Wood (INDYWeek's Best New Restaurant 2020) and Bluebird (INDYWeek's BNR 2022) have opened Proximo, a Spanish tapas restaurant, on East Franklin St in downtown Chapel Hill.
We are in search of a creative, disciplined, fastidious, and ambitious Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, and Line Cooks to develop the menu and lead the staff of Proximo.
Proximo's kitchen is small and the team we have in place is tight. No matter what level of experience you join us at, you'll get hands-on experience in cooking, cleaning, ordering, cleaning, receiving, stewarding, cleaning, and menu composition, not to mention direct guest interaction.
Proximo is already staking a position as a downtown Chapel Hill destination. Our systems, recipes, and operating procedures are already functioning at 100%, we are just in search of the right personnel to step in.
