MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR:
Keeping our hotel running smoothly is vital to our guest's experience – as a Maintenance Supervisor you will keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork. From simple repairs to forward thinking for the next day. With naturally high standards to support our own, you will approach every task with devotion and pride.
Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the entire Maintenance of the hotel’s building, grounds and the operation of its equipment and mechanical/electrical systems.
Your day-to-day
· Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish items in guest rooms. By keeping on top of these tasks, you will keep our hotel looking great and working well
· Organize supplies in the maintenance shop and make sure equipment is ready for the next day
· Take responsibility for the safety and cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel
· Be ready to take on extra duties as and when the team needs you
· Reviewing maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders to prioritize and schedule work assignments with team / coordinating daily job functions and assigning tasks
· Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing malfunctioning electrical / mechanical systems and equipment
· Inspecting property to identify potential and current needs
· Coordinating with local health, safety, fire and building inspectors to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
· Performing preventive maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis
· Servicing the hotel’s pool, including adjusting chemicals, and cleaning filters
· Completing daily maintenance logs
· Maintaining the building exterior if not serviced by a contractor (e.g. snow removal, lawn care, painting).
· Listening and responding to guests’ requests or complaints.
Requirements
· Live up to high safety standards – follow guidelines and tell the General Manager about any incidents, dangerous conditions, or unsafe equipment
· Be a friendly face and helping hand to our guests
· Ability to lift 50+lbs on occasion
must have HVAC / PTAC, drywall, electrical, plumbing, flooring experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20-$25 per hour
