Radius is looking for talented and passionate saute line and pizza line cooks. We have a lunch shift and 1-2 dinner shifts available. We make virtually everything from scratch so, if you've got the skills and the love for food, we'd want you to join our small, dedicated team. Cook/Chef Restaurant Responsibilities:
- Pre-Service: your line is set up so you're able to blaze through service.
- Post-Service: your station is properly re-stocked, product rotated, so the next service will go smoothly.
- Read tickets accurately, build dishes to order, cook with precision and skill.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and coordinate with Expo to ensure courses are properly timed and items are made accurately to order.
- Keep a clean and well-organized workstation, follow food safety guidelines and maintain our high cleanliness standards.
- Learn our menu backwards & forwards and our weekly specials - your own ideas and creativity for specials is encouraged.
- Embrace a fast-paced environment, remain calm under pressure and maintain a professional and polite communication with your boh & foh co-workers.
- Cooperate with your team to clean down the kitchen nightly.
- A sense of humor about yourself, and life and a desire to help create and grow and positive, productive, professional work environment.
Cook/Chef Restaurant Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a cook.
- Care about your work.
- Interest in and desire to learn and grow, and to help, and teach others what you know.
- Experience working in a high-volume kitchen, able to handle a constant stream of orders and busy yourself during the quiet times with something other than your phone.
- Able to prioritize tasks and manage your time efficiently.
- Look for or ask for work to do.
- Available weekday and weekend evenings, and mornings on weekends.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English? AMAZING! Only speak one language That’s ok with us; we'll make it work!
- You are an adult. Leave your personal problems at the back door. Don't give excuses. Come to work, work when you're at work, and leave when the job is done.
