Restaurant Dishwasher

 Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.

 Provides clean, sparkling dishes and silverware.

 Cleans the inside of the restaurant to provide a pleasant, safe environment for guests and team members.

 Cleans around the outside of the building and the parking lot.

 Empties trash into the dumpster and keeps the dumpster, trash cans, and back dock area clean.

 Stocks prep areas with appropriate smallwares. Stocks server areas with appropriate glasses and silverware.

 Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including dish machines, sinks, tables, and shelves.

 Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.

 Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager, General Manager, or Manager on Duty.

 Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition.

 Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.

 Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness.

Qualifications:

 Minimum six months experience in a restaurant dish room.

 Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, and dining room team members.

 Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).

 Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

 Must have the stamina to work 50 to 60 hours per week.
