Job description:
We're on the lookout for a Shift Manager at our franchise fast food restaurant that is coming up in Durham, NC. Your role will include things like welcoming and serving customers, delegating tasks to the team, answering customer questions, and making sure safety rules are followed.
Responsibilities
Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance
Maintain a fully-stocked inventory and order food supplies, as needed
Arrange to have shifts covered (e.g. when employees take time off)
Balance the cash register at the end of the shift
Coordinate with suppliers as they deliver food product orders
Open or close the restaurant (when responsible for the first or last shift)
Inform the next Shift Manager about pending tasks
