Wholesale Account Manager
Job Summary
Strong Arm Baking Company is a thriving, expanding, and dynamic business dedicated to improving lives through delicious food. We are seeking a Wholesale Account Manager to maintain and grow our wholesale program, providing excellent customer service, care, and salesmanship to our current and future partners across the triangle.
Who is Strong Arm Baking?
Strong Arm Baking started as a team of 2 in a home-based business 10 years ago. We now operate as a 70-person team of smart, dedicated, talented individuals. We sell our products out of our shop in downtown Oxford, at two area Farmers Markets, and in coffee shops and stores where we deliver daily all over the triangle. We also deliver 'Porch Drop' to over 300 customers' homes weekly.

The right applicant will understand that prompt, professional communication with customers and team members is paramount.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain our Wholesale Ordering Software to be relevant with price changes, customer information, and product descriptions.
Maintain Clientele Information
Produce and maintain a complete reference guide for each account to include specifics on product packaging, location items should be dropped, contact information, individual store details, and preferred timing.
Actively recruit new clients!
Increase Wholesale sales.
Understand individual clients current product mix and customer demands and cater offerings to meet their needs accordingly.
Respond to incoming customer email queries daily 7 days a week, always within 24 hours.
Adjust Clientele Orders/ Accounts as needed, always going above and beyond to solve problems and get products in people’s hands!
Respond to all customer calls or messages within the hour during the hours of 7am-5pm, Monday-Saturday.
Client Visits. Ensure a positive relationship with all wholesale accounts by consistently checking in with each shop, recording needs and potential areas for increased sales, and delivering new items for baristas and employees to sample. (Once every 4 weeks)
Maintain a schedule for coffee shop visits.
Run wholesale delivery routes as needed, and in order to maintain awareness of how our delivery system works. (5am start time, as needed, and as time allows)
Maintain routes for visiting our wholesale partners, adding new clients as we take them on, and ensuring routes are efficient.
Collections Management
Manage collection of overdue accounts.
Keep all accounts current, or under 45 days.
Strong Arm Outreach and Promotional Events
Find, plan and attend 12-24 events annually which showcase Strong Arm to a desirable audience. Goals for these events include:
Email gathering
Porch Drop education
Participating in and advocating for sustainable food systems
Promoting our local food system and how our business functions within it.
Work Saturday mornings as a Farmer’s Market Sales representative to ingrain yourself within our customer community and be an example for how to represent our business to the Farmer’s Market sales team. (as needed, and as time allows)
Required Skills/Abilities
Maintain awareness of the local food scene, to include local businesses opening and closing by following local print media and social media as well as spending enough time in the area to see where new spaces are coming.
Extensive knowledge of food handling regulations and requirements to safely serve our customers.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients.
Excellent organizational skills. Learn our system, then improve it, or establish your own.
Excellent time management skills. Be able to function under time constraints and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Must be able to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including all Holidays.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Education and Experience:
Demonstrated understanding of collaborative teamwork.
Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, Mountain Stream, and Shopify, with the ability to learn several software systems necessary for the planning and operation of our business.

Salaried Position. Range of $48,500 - $62,000 annually depending on experience, and actionized sales goals. Opportunity for growth.
Knowledge of growing and implementing HAACP plans used to service larger grocery accounts is appreciated but not required.
