LPN needed to work with seniors and adults with disabilities in an Adult Day Program located in Wake County, NC.
The Primary Functions of this position are:
Perform skilled nursing tasks;
Monitor medical needs of participants;
Maintain accurate documentation for Total Life Center participants;
Provide training and supervision to Total Life Center and Resources for Seniors, Inc. staff.
The qualified candidate will have proven successful experience in:
Conducting health assessments;
Knowledge of the physical and emotional aspects of aging;
One year experience in the provision of activities and services, preferably with impaired adults;
One year experience with personal care and creating care plans;
Assisting participants with daily living activities (toileting, feeding, transferring, and bathing, etc.).
Additional qualifications required:
Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license through the North Carolina Board of Nursing;
Certification in CPR and First Aid training.
The ideal candidate should be flexible, patient, and available to work in a team environment with minimal supervision varied hours on Monday-Friday, no nights or weekends. The Health Coordinator is classified as a part time, non-exempt position.
