Accentuate Staffing is hiring a Residential Renovation Carpenter for an established, industry leader in the Raleigh area. This is a direct hire, full-time position.
Responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Taking accurate measurements and calculating the size and amount of materials needed
Cutting, shaping, and assembling materials to build structures or fixtures
Installing structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding
Ensure work is done in a timely fashion, within the appropriate project timeline
Regularly keep customers informed on project progress
Requirements:
3+ years of proven experience as a carpenter including installing interior trim, patching drywall, painting, etc.
Experience with residential remodeling preferred
Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program or relevant certification is a plus
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
Must be willing and able to work after hours/on call on a rotational basis
Must provide own hand tools
Must be able to consistently walk, stand, climb, kneel, lift, and carry 50 lbs or more on a regular basis
