We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Truck Manager & possible Driver to oversee the operations of our food truck at special events around The Greater Raleigh Area NC . The ideal candidate will possess strong managerial skills, a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, and the ability to drive a trailer safely to event locations around North Carolina.
This is a part time position, with fast opportunity to grow into a full-time role. Perfect for someone looking for supplemental income on the weekends!
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
· Coordinate all aspects of food truck operations including setup, service, and teardown.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
· Manage inventory, ordering, and restocking of supplies.
· Oversee food preparation and quality control to maintain high standards.
· Troubleshoot any operational issues that arise during events.
Customer Service:
· Provide friendly and efficient customer service to enhance the overall customer experience.
· Address customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional manner.
· Train and supervise staff to uphold excellent service standards.
Driving and Logistics:
· Safely operate and maneuver a trailer to transport the food truck to various event locations.
· Plan routes and ensure timely arrival at events.
· Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical integrity of the trailer.
Financial Management:
· Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Team Leadership:
· Recruit, train, and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional performance.
· Delegate tasks effectively and ensure smooth communication among team members.
· Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a mobile food truck setting.
· Prior experience in pastry or ice cream production preferred
· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and experience towing trailers a plus but can train.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate event schedules.
· Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
· Capacity to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
