Empire Hardhat Construction LLC, a leading Contractor in historic building restoration has openings for full time laborers in Raleigh. EHC focuses on the craft of construction to revitalize and ensure that Raleigh’s historical buildings remain a focal point of downtown’s character.
Candidates should have a general knowledge of construction and construction jobsite safety. Ideal candidates would have a working knowledge of hand tools and basic carpentry, knowledge of other construction trades is a plus but not required. A positive attitude and communication skills are necessary. Applicants with a no experience but have a strong work ethic and are ready to learn a new trade will also be considered.
His/her responsibilities will primarily include jobsite cleanup, demolition, and material handling. Other duties include picking up materials from the supply house, moving office furniture and restaurant equipment. Candidates should be able to lift 50lbs, have a valid driver’s license and are able to complete OSHA 10 training.
