Bowden Contracting is a licensed & Insured family-owned company seeking a skilled Mason Foreman to join our team. We specialize in concrete, Masonry & Grading, for residential and commercial properties. We need a Mason that can install bricks and blocks using modern techniques, with safe and efficient practices. You will work with other professionals on site to deliver high-quality needs to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Understand Safety and tool/equipment operations
Ability to read drawings and understand masonry details
Train apprentices as needed to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
Mix cement and mortar on the job site as needed
Building structures with stone, concrete and brick
Cutting, shaping and dressing materials
Lifting, carrying and placing prepared blocks
Turning in required paperwork in a timely manner
Consistent Work Ethic
Assist in building layout, framing, sheathing and roofing structures
Requirements and skills
3 Year work experience as a Mason
Certification in masonry or Equivalent experience preferred
Good driving record
Valid NC Driver’s License
Experience with Lintels
Experience using Power Tools
Lift up to 50-80lbs
Must be able to lift, carry, pull, push, kneel, crouch, climb or crawl
Reliable transportation
Deadline & Detail Oriented
Must be able to handle work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wet).
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM
