Job description:

The Residential Field Tech will be responsible for leading roofing foremen to perform work safely and productively per specifications and to the standards of Locklear Roofing.

The coordinator will effectively manage all aspects of production to meet company and project goals, represent the company in a professional manner in all dealings with developers, customers, personnel, and the public, while providing a consistently high-quality service and results, with guidance to the foremen and fostering safety, teamwork, and discipline.

The duties of the coordinator will include but are not limited to; ensuring crews have all viable information, material and instructions necessary to complete jobs, submit reports and paperwork to office in a timely and accurate manner, review final paperwork to ensure accuracy of project, perform final inspection, participate in regular review meetings with project managers, visit job sites daily, conduct or participate in daily safety audits, engage with customers to answer questions and provide any feedback needed.

Qualifications:

2-3 Years General Construction.

Driver License required

Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities extensive knowledge and experience in various types of residential roofing.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Strong organizational and communication/writing/time management skills.

Ability to multitask and manage multiple ongoing jobs at a time.

Strong knowledge of Safety and all OSHA.

Requires ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Ability to navigate current technology and software interfaces.

Bilingual Preferred.

Willing to train and develop as needed for certifications not held.

A passion for customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of overall project plan.

Overseeing project execution from handover to end of warranty, keeping track of goals, materials, tasks, resources, schedules, and all contingencies.

Identify material and take off discrepancies.

Maintain schedule and timeline on all projects.

Collaborate and engage with subcontractors on all stages and matters of production.

Collaborate and engage with builders to meet, plan and resolve all objectives.

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure properly allocated resources are on site.

Perform Quality and Final inspections on all projects.

Schedule and lead safety Inspections, briefs, meetings and continuous improvement plans.

Communicate, record and report with main office for all needed forms and documents.

Use company tools, tablets, and all interfaces to upload and post all needed information from the field.

Climb and access all areas of sites to perform required duties.

Stay current on all required training and certifications and train for any new ones needed.

Education and Experience:

Associate degree preferred but not required.

2-3 Years General Construction.

1-2 Years Roofing experience.

Excellent well rounded management skills.

Bilingual preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Must be able to access all areas of project sites.

Must be able to climb on roofs.

Must be able to lift to 100 lbs.
