A manufacturing company located in Angier, NC is seeking to hire a Production Welder to join our team. Must be able to utilize hand tools and grinders to deburr, grind and finish parts, setup jigs, Mig and Tig welding of steel, stainless and aluminum, complete fabrication from layout to shipping, including measuring, cutting, finishing and assembly.
This position is responsible for fabrications from layout, positioning and fixturing, measuring and cutting their own stock, welding, grinding and finishing of weldments and assisting others with assembly tasks if needed.
Ideal candidate must have reliable transportation, capable of operating a fork lift, lifting up to 50 pounds, be organized and capable of maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Minimum of three (3) years experience is highly desired but will consider less experience with proper skills.
Must be adaptable to working in indoor/outdoor temperature environments. Ability to pass a drug test is required. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Company provides benefits such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as paid holidays and vacation.
