ASI Signage has immediate opening for experienced signage installer.
Scope: Work independently or as part of a team to install all types of exterior and interior signage. Follow detailed instructions, schedules, and properly install signs and graphics in strict compliance with work order instructions.
Qualifications: Minimum five years’ experience in architectural, commercial
sign business in all phases of installation and maintenance of both interior and exterior illuminated and non-illuminated signs.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of construction practices, sign products, materials,
hardware, manufacturing standards, and installation techniques, and the ability to understand
architectural plans and specifications. Must be highly organized, thorough, detail oriented, and
precise in written and verbal communication. Able to analyze and solve problems. Comfortable with heights (ladders,bucket truck,crane work) or in confined spaces. A current valid NC drivers license and clean driving record. Crane Certification (starting Nov. 2018)
Responsibilities and Duties:
Work independently or as part of a team to install all types of indoor and outdoor signage.
Follow detailed assembly instructions
Properly install signs and graphics in strict compliance with work order instructions
Possess a working knowledge of hardware (sizes, grades, uses) anchors, and skills including but not limited to, cutting, measuring, leveling etc.
Hand mixing cement and pouring small cement footings for permanent signs.
Safely operate company vehicles and trucks, including lift trucks and open and enclosed trailers
Prepare routine administrative paperwork
Assist in Quality Control – confirms signage conforms to work order specifications
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Maintain the cleanliness of all company vehicles
Maintain the company vehicles on maintenance schedule
Present yourself and represent the company professional at all times especially on job sites and in front of the customer.
