As our Training Specialist, you will be supporting the career development and performance improvement of Bakery staff by independently and collaboratively implementing training initiatives and a wide variety of general and specific training programs. Collaborating with the Training Manager, you will manage projects, deliver and implement existing training programs, and work with Bakery Operations to design and deliver new training programs.

Here's more of what you'll get to do:

Develop and organize training manuals, technical training courses, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.

Act as the primary point of contact for Designated Trainer (DT) training including scheduling, coordination, execution, and tracking of training hours.

Conduct needs assessments and identify performance gaps.

Interview subject matter experts.

Propose recommendations for curriculum improvements.

Develop instructional materials using a variety of different media.

Manage core program delivery and ensure effectiveness for content and for the group of learners.

Train and coach facilitators.

Make timely courseware updates and maintain source content.

Select and use a variety of techniques to define and sequence instructional content and strategies.

Ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables and production processes.

Develop course support materials and documentation.

Construct assessment items appropriate to the associated learning objectives.

Qualifications:

What we require:

Minimum of one year developing instructor-led and self-study training in a corporate setting.

Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and practices to include: instructional systems design, curriculum design, performance improvement, performance support systems, adult learning theories, interactive technologies and eLearning design principles, distance learning/self-paced instruction, and evaluation methodologies.

Strong project management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.

Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook) as well as various presentation tools (web conferencing, etc.), online learning programs, and assessment tools.

Experience developing content in a Learning Content Management System.

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.

What we prefer:

Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Experience developing technical content.

Experience in various instructional approaches (web-based, instructor-led, or virtual instructor-led training).

Experience delivering instruction in a virtual or classroom environment.

Experience with Articulate, Captivate, SharePoint, Photoshop (or Fireworks), Flash and/or other CBT/WBT software, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Captivate, Javascript, and HTML.

Knowledge of Microsoft Project and Visio.
