Local commercial construction company has an immediate need for a full time administrative assistant. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, conscientious, professional, and courteous, with the ability to perform tasks with an attention to detail. Position requires answering phones, general computer, writing, and communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Maintain files and records so that they remain updated and easily accessible
Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail (envelopes, packages, etc.)
Answer phones, take messages or redirect calls to appropriate persons
Utilize office equipment such as scanners, printers, and computers for word processing and spreadsheet creation
Monitor office supplies stock (pens, toner, stationery etc.) and report when there are shortages
Miscellaneous administrative and management support tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements:
Proven clerical experience
Exceptional organizational skills and multitasking abilities
Familiarity with office procedures
Working knowledge of office devices
Skilled in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication skills and phone manners
Team player who can work independently
