We are a global IT services provider, with a local datacenter and support team in the RTP region. We are seeking a part-time datacenter technician for our RTP datacenter.
As a datacenter technician, you will be involved with day-to-day operations and deploying customer setups in multiple aspects including the physical server infrastructure, software deployment and configuration management. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a datacenter environment and be familiar with cabling and basic systems troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities include: Installation of network and server hardware, documenting physical rack information, auditing cabling and documentation, meeting with customers and vendors for on-site work, ensuring datacenter environment is clean and orderly.
