I am converting a crawlspace into a basement. The engineered plans call for underpinning the existing footer in 4' sections. The process is as follows:
1. Dig out beneath the existing footer
2. Install rebar
3. Build wood forms
4. Pour concrete (mudmixer onsite)
An example of a section ready for a form to be built is here: https://imgur.com/a/QOrvnUU
I'm looking for someone experienced who can finish up this project for me. There are 9 sections that require underpinning and it should take a few weeks of work to get done.
I will provide materials and have a mudmixer onsite as well as rebar benders / cutters. You will need to bring your own saws / general tools.
Pay is daily and work can start immediately. Job site is near downtown Durham.
Please respond with the following information:
(a) years of experience building forms / doing concrete work
(b) if you've done any underpinning / footing work before
(c) what tools you'll need to do form work (if any)
(d) your name and contact information
Thank you very much!
