Superintendent needed for growing contracting company. We are looking for a team player, who is also able to work independently. The following skills and abilities are also required:
⢠Candidates must be reliable, organized, and able to anticipate and solve problems that might otherwise delay projects.
⢠Candidates should be familiar with laws and procedures regarding health and safety on construction jobsites, and ensure that such protocols are consistently followed.
⢠Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to coordinate, supervise, and manage work crews and sub-contractors.
⢠Superintendent is expected to be onsite throughout the project, and inspect progress daily to make certain that the job is on schedule and will be completed to the high standard expected by this company and its clients.
⢠Candidates must be proficient with accurately estimating and ordering materials, as well as completing necessary paperwork.
⢠Should be able to perform carpentry and other tasks as required to complete project.
⢠Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule, as jobs may require night and/or weekend work.
⢠Experience in construction industry or related field required.
