We are seeking a team player, who can handle loading and unloading Trucks, and conveyors at our shop in Raleigh. A long with the primary tasks this position is a "jack of all trades" including, Cleaning up the yard, taking out trash, and inspecting forklifts before the start of shifts.
Description:
Loading and unloading trucks of steel beams and other material
Perform basic lawn maintenance tasks when required
Perform all job functions in accordance with company safety policies and procedures at all times.
Receive trucks, and complete load lists when loading out going trucks.
Perform all job functions in accordance with company environmental policies and procedures at all times.
Keep the yard clean.
Perform all job functions when it comes to painting and sandblasting
Follow General Plant Maintenance sheets.
Empty out all outside trash cans and placing trash and empty fiber boxes in the proper receptacles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1-year experience safely operating a forklift.
Ability to perform basic math.
Ability to use a tablet to input what was received and shipped for the day
Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
Prior experience in loading flat beds
Clean drivers license
Physical Demands:
Ability to safely lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
Ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, lift, stretch, push, pull, twist, kneel, stand, walk, sit, and reach.
Ability to safely climb up and down stairs and/or ladders.
Ability to work primarily outside, with possible exposure to the extremes of hot or cold weather.
