Evers Fine Carpentry Inc. is a high end custom finish carpentry company specializing in all aspects of interior trim carpentry. We are looking to fill two apprentice positions. We are not a production company, we are very high end custom. We build built-in cabinets, shelves, beds, bench's, and custom closets. We install everything from doors, to casing, to base, to wainscotting, to picture frame panel mould accent walls and foyers. We are looking for self motivated, perfectionistic, hardworking, experienced finish carpenters to join our team. Being a very precise individual is an absolute must. We are looking for persons with good moral integrity and business ethics. Positions are full time but part time may be considered for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for assisting the lead carpenter in all aspects of Interior trim carpentry. You will sometimes be assigned your own projects, but generally work as part of a team under the lead carpenter. This position could evolve into a lead position in the future. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license is required, along with basic carpentry tools. Willing to train the right person, but at least some experience in finish carpentry is highly preferred. Rough carpentry experience is a small plus.
This is a rare opportunity for a motivated person to get experience on trimming out high end custom homes and grow in knowledge under the tutelage of a master carpenter in a great work environment.
For candidates with little to no skill and experience in finish carpentry, wages will range from $15-17 per hour, for candidates with a moderate amount of applicable experience, wages will range from $18-$20 per hour. Contact us with your experience, references, and other credentials.
