Carolina Commercial Systems is looking for HVAC refrigeration Pipefitters and Welders: 10 years experience required. Competitive wage based on experience. Work with mechanics, projects managers, and pipefitting crews to perform installation of refrigeration and gas piping, chilled and hot water piping and silver solder and ability to weld on a Mig and Tig welder. Experienced refrigeration pipefitter / welder at Carolina Commercial Systems must have the ability to properly read blue prints and submittal cut sheets to obtain and size refrigeration copper, perform material take off, install, test, pull vacuum, and charge equipment. Installation includes, but is not limited to, products such as heat pumps, duct less splits, and VRV systems. All applicants must pass a drug screen and background check and Job Readiness physical test.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of proper refrigeration installation.
Knowledge of brazing with oxygen, acetylene, and nitrogen tanks; of all sizes. (20,40,65, B-tank, 80, 150).
Strong understating of code requirements for insulation thickness.
Willing to perform other aspect of heating and AC installations when needed.
Basic Hanger and support knowledge for all different applications
Job Responsibilities
Proper safety and material handling techniques with an emphasis on combustible materials used in refrigeration piping.
Maintain truck stock and inventory within company guidelines; including, but not limited to, ladders, power tools, fittings, fasteners, and hand tools
Work with other trades, field support, and office staff for job coordination/completion
Take ownership of work performed and have accountability for actions.
