Project Overview:
MNK Property Group LLC is seeking a licensed General Contractor for the interior build-out of a 2,000-square-foot commercial salon suite facility in Durham, North Carolina. The project will include the construction of multiple salon suites and associated common areas, requiring coordination of plumbing, electrical, and finish work to meet commercial code standards.
Requirements:
Valid North Carolina General Contractor license (verification required)
Engagement of licensed electrician and plumber, with license numbers provided
Current general liability and workers’ compensation insurance
Submission of a detailed, itemized proposal and cost breakdown (labor, materials, permits, and timeline)
Responsible for securing and managing all required city permits and inspections
Must coordinate rough-in and final inspections with relevant authorities
Deliver final inspection approvals and Certificate of Occupancy (CO) upon completion
Provide weekly progress updates, documentation of completed milestones, and any change orders in writing
Deliverables:
Itemized estimate with defined project scope and timeline
Proof of licensing and insurance
Permit and inspection documentation
Final close-out package, including CO and warranty information
Ideal Candidate:
Contractors with experience in commercial salon, spa, or small medical office build-outs who demonstrate strong communication, scheduling, and compliance management skills are preferred.
