This is an opportunity to learn multiple skilled trades. Things that for example, a future homeowner will find to be invaluable. Carpentry, metal work, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, painting and more.
No experience is preferred. What you do need is, a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and weekend availability. You do not need to have any tools. Having your own transportation is not a must.
The job focuses on residential construction, renovation, maintenance and repair. Also, some lawn maintenance. Including maintenance of lawncare equipment, along with some landscaping, and more.
I am a do it yourselfer/handyman type. I manage rental property and have my own workshop. I do residential maintenance and build wood craft type projects like cabinets, cutting board, clocks…etc.
If you have a project of your own, working on it would be an option. On a case-by-case situation.
I also do light metal work. I work most every weekend. I can supply references from past apprentices. Most of which were high school age when they started and by the time they finished they had valuable trade and life skills.
This is a paid apprenticeship. Give me a shout if you think this sounds interesting. If you are a minor, your parent/guardian must sign a consent form.
