We are looking for an experienced stair and handrail remodeling carpenter to join our team. Our company is celebrating 16 years in business in the Raleigh Triangle area and need qualified candidates to help us continue to grow. With a long list of happy customers, the ideal candidate will have both quality install skills as well as excellent people skills. Our goal is to treat our projects like homes and not just jobsites.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Installation of stairs and railings following building codes
2. Reading work orders, confirming parts takeoffs and keeping parts organized on site.
3. Friendly, professional communication with all (clients, co-workers, and other trades)
4. Checking in daily with shop and communicating questions, progress, parts, schedule etc.
5. Maintaining neatness and safety at work
Qualifications
1. Interior stair and railing building experience
2. Excellent Wood Craftsmanship skills
3. Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
4. Own truck and tools
5. Ability to work independently
6. You Must have valid ID and SS # OR EIN # and provide a W-9 + proof of insurance
