We are looking for a professional and reliable vehicle inspector to assist with mechanical breakdown inspections for extended warranty companies. An ideal candidate would have:
Good communication skills
Strong analytical abilities
The ability to write clear and descriptive reports
Capable of following inspection related instructions
The ability to work independently.
Reliable transportation
A good comfort level with digital cameras and computers.
Must have at least five years of service and repair experience at a dealership or independent repair shop. Coverage areas would include cities and towns that are within an hour of the Raleigh-Durham area.
Primary role would be inspecting cars and trucks at dealerships and independent repair facilities for extended warranty claims. This would include verification of failures to engines, transmissions, differentials, transfer cases, etc. Another role would be performing pre-purchase inspections at dealerships and private residences.
