L&W Supply is a leading specialty distributor of drywall, ceiling tiles, steel framing and other building materials used by commercial and residential contractors. L&W Supply delivers the products and capabilities offered by a national distributor paired with the service and personal touch usually found only in a locally owned business.
L&W Supply is looking for a success-driven individual to join its team and ensure branch operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
Specific duties may include:
-Coordinating deliveries with sales team and customers, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction
-Managing cost of delivery, covering all expenses related to labor, equipment and supplies
-Working closely with warehouse management to ensure on-time delivery
-Managing delivery equipment to ensure safe operations and compliance with all DOT and OSHA regulations
-Monitoring and evaluating performance of all delivery personnel and provide them with direction
-Provide support to customer service representatives to ensure customer satisfaction
-Making sure that trucks are not overloaded and that all loads fall within standard weight limits for each vehicle
-Assessing job site delivery requirements and assigning appropriate delivery vehicles
-Resolving all vehicle safety issues logged by drivers by routing vehicles to the appropriate service facilities for needed repairs
-Keeping customers informed of delivery status
Specific qualifications include:
-High school degree or equivalent required
-Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple service needs simultaneously
-5 years experience in material delivery, warehouse, and/or logistics preferred
-Positive attitude and team player
