A family owned children's book fair and literacy company is seeking dedicated, hard working drivers for the delivery and pickup of book fairs from elementary and middle schools. The pickup and delivery requires the loading and unloading of trucks at both the warehouse facility and schools.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Working with the delivery coordinator to ensure punctual book fair deliveries and pickups.
Providing outstanding customer service to our schools during deliveries and pickups.
Load and unload trucks.
Deliver and pickup products and equipment from schools as scheduled while providing excellent customer service.
Utilize DOT equipment for tracking driving times/distances.
Adhere to all Company, local, state, and federal rules/regulations/laws inclusive of, but not limited to DOT and OSHA.
All candidates must be at least 21 years of age, pass a drug/alcohol screening, motor vehicle record review, criminal background review, and a DOT physical examination. Must be able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs., push/pull metal rolling bookcases weighing up to 350 lbs., utilize a handcart to move metal book racks up to 150 lbs. on a regular basis.
