We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport location. Key Responsibilities:
Vehicle Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine and specialized automotive tasks such as oil changes, tire repair/replacement, brake work, wiper replacement, coolant system maintenance, and troubleshooting check engine light issues.
Accurate Reporting: Record vital details for every job and submit comprehensive daily reports to the accounting and management teams.
Client Communication: Identify and communicate potential vehicle issues and provide recommendations for preventive maintenance or repairs, enhancing customer satisfaction and increasing revenue opportunities.
Tool Utilization: Use personal basic tools, including sockets, wrenches, power drills, and toolboxes. Specialty tools, such as diagnostic scanners and non-standard equipment, will be provided by the company as necessary.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company and client guidelines.
Schedule Flexibility: Participate in our 7-day operation, including weekend shifts as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as an auto mechanic or in a related technical field.
Strong diagnostic and repair skills across a range of vehicle systems.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in explaining issues and solutions to clients.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Personal basic toolset (sockets, wrenches, power drills, etc.).
Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in automotive repair is a plus.
