As a result, you help make data much easier to understand and consume for others and have managed to pivot to new technologies rapidly.location: Durham, North Carolinajob type: Contractwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:At a minimum, we expect you to have:
BS in Computer Science or related technical degree
Active proficiency developing applications/APIs in Python
Git and test automation
Experience with SQL and Linux
Minimum 3 years of experience on streaming and/or big data platform (ex. Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Clickhouse)
DevOps mindset with experience on agile team
Strong technical writing and communication skills
Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
qualifications:The following would be beneficial, but not required:
Experience with containerization (specifically Docker & Kubernetes)
Experience with GraphQL API development
UI/visualization, React, Javascript experience
Security experience - OAuth, etc.
Monitoring, alerting, instrumentation, logging (Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
skills: The following would be beneficial, but not required:
