DescriptionJob SummaryThe QC Inspector’s main responsibility is to inspect, accept or reject work performed in a particular discipline in compliance with applicable Codes and specifications. This individual must possess and provide documentation for our review which shows either ASNT ACCP certification or previous employer ASNT SNT-TC-1A based training and certification as a Level-II in both VT and PT NDE methods. This documentation must include a diploma/certificate and other documentation traceable to the individual’s name which shows method of instruction and review, level of qualification, total hours of instruction, name of agency sponsoring the training course, signature and title of person who issued the diploma/certificate, and date of issuance. This night position will be located on a jobsite in Rougemont, NC.Essential Functions

Responsible to observe and follow all safety procedures and regulations at the jobsite.
Perform inspections and witness tests as required.
Prepare reports and quality records in compliance with procedures.
Coordinate areas of QC work with other department's work, such as, start-up, engineering, process, etc.
Perform receipt inspections of material for work area in conjunction with material control staff as required.
Perform system verification on completed systems to assure correct installation per design specifications.
Control measuring and test equipment, as required to ensure accuracy.
Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Qualifications
2+ years minimum experience with welded constructions in an inspection and/or QC role.
1+ years minimum Level-II experience.
Possess documentation showing current/previous ASNT Level-II certification in VT & PT NDE methods.
API-653 Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector certification is a plus.
Should be familiar with ASME Sec. IX, B31.1, B31.3, API 620/650/653 Codes & Standards.
Excellent oral and written communication & reporting skills.
Reliable computer skills using common reporting and documentation related programs such as MS Word and Excel.
