Serve as the face of American Red Cross to maximize American Red Cross presence and connectivity in the community and expand the community’s recognition of the breadth of the American Red Cross contribution to the community in a highly complex market.
Lead the achievement of region revenue, volunteer engagement, blood collection, and community engagement mission goals by identifying and strengthening specific strategic relationships in the community and serving as a connector for internal stakeholders for these activities.
Influence and create an environment of team and inclusion to effectively deliver against the American Red Cross mission.
Serve as a member of the Elected Officials Liaison Network supporting disaster responses across the nation.
Develop and manage a large cohort of community volunteer leaders to serve as the face of the Red Cross in assigned territories, support mission capacity building by developing key community partnerships, and to recruit volunteers.

Adapt precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree required.Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.Management Experience: NASkills & Abilities: Ability to work on a team.Travel: May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state, and Red Cross system.Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).Physical RequirementsPhysical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time.
