Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join our team in Tarboro, North Carolina. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes within our industry. Your responsibilities will include inventory management, order processing, and liaising with different departments to ensure efficient operations.Responsibilities: Oversee the inventory and document stock on hand. Regularly update the procurement team about items that need to be ordered. Receive and confirm the accuracy of orders using the SAP system. Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory to maintain accuracy. Provide support to the sourcing/procurement team as required. Utilize computer systems effectively for procurement processes. Oversee the receipt of incoming packages and ensure they are correctly entered into the system. Ensure that all maintenance parts are ordered in a timely manner. Manage the sourcing process for ordering items. Coordinate with maintenance teams to track and log various parts of equipment.Skills: Familiarity with 3M, Coupa, CRM, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, About Time, Budget Processes, Buying Processes, Customer Service, Invoice Proficiency in using computer systems for procurement processes. Ability to manage inventory and keep accurate records. Strong communication skills for liaising with different departments. Experience with SAP or the ability to learn new systems quickly. Requirements Demonstrable expertise in procurement and buying processes Proficiency in using ERP Solutions and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools Familiarity with CRM systems, specifically 3M and Coupa Strong understanding of budget processes Experience with 'About Time' software Ability to handle invoicing tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills Strong communication skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
