Safe work environment

The candidate that best fits this position needs to be willing and able to travel at a moments notice within NC, SC and VA mostly and sometimes outside these 3 states. Not all jobs require overnight stays. A lot are 1 night out, sometimes 2 nights. Sometimes the jobs require 3 to 4 nights then return home. On rare occasions more nights out are required.Sometimes we'll have a week or two notice that a crew will be required to stay out of town several nights. The Schedule can change rapidly and sometimes we only have a moments notice. We mostly run 3 man crews and sometimes 2 or 4 men it depends on what each job requires.Duties:

comprehensive industrial and mechanical projects

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs

Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards

Collaborate with other technicians and customers to develop solutions for problems

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics

Test electrical and mechanical systems and components to ensure proper functioning

Provide field service support to customers as needed

Fabricate and assemble components as required

Monitor and maintain all rigging equipment to ensure safety

Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service

Skills:

operate shooting boom forklift and quad mast forklifts, scissor lift, etc.

rigging steel for installing floor supported cranes and ceiling hung cranes

Installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment

Welding, stick and mig

single and 3 phase electric knowledge mainly for hoist and crane power and troubleshooting

Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
