Port City Taxi is now accepting applications for part-time and full-time drivers. We have been providing transportation services in and around the Wilmington area since 1978. In addition to standard taxi services, we also provide courier services, non-emergency medical transportation, vehicle unlocks, state port transportation services, and more! With flexible days and hours, drivers have the opportunity to work according to their own schedule and lifestyle. Income potential is excellent and drivers have the ability to work as much or as little as they would likeand pay is daily! Unlike ride share companies that cause wear and tear, along with higher miles on personal vehicles, we provide taxis for our drivers and we handle all of the maintenance!
Potential drivers will need to meet the following requirements:
At least 7 years of experience driving a motor vehicle
North Carolina driver's license
Clean driving record
Ability to pass a drug screen
Ability to pass FBI background check
Positive and professional attitude
The following skills are preferred, but not required:
Previous experience driving a taxi
Previous experience in customer service
Knowledge of Wilmington, NC area (GPS will still be very useful)
