You'll stay on top of tools and technology in the marketplace that are helpful in fighting this problem, work closely with Operations to ensure lessons are learned from the ways we are beat, and feed these learnings back into our strategies.Job Responsibilities:

Perform analysis of Card identity theft strategies to evaluate their effectiveness in preventing loss while minimizing operational expense and optimizing the customer experience

Conduct research to identify fraud trends and perform simulations to determine rules that can be implemented to mitigate losses

Communicate across partner teams and at all levels, presenting strategies for approval and obtaining executive buy-in

Manage deliverables needed to implement strategies by working with stakeholders to design solutions, develop requirements and test their implementation

Monitor strategies to identify emerging attacks and trends and make changes to strategies in response

Ensure compliance with existing control structure while also driving future enhancements

Deliver on short timelines

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Degree in a quantitative discipline from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience and 3+ years of experience in a Risk Management or quantitative role, preferably in credit cards or financial services

Working knowledge of detection & mitigation practices for fraud types

Experience with SAS and SQL

Ability to query large amounts of data, analyze and transform the raw data into actionable insights

Strong written and oral communication skills

Experience delivering recommendations to management

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skillsThe following additional items will be considered but are not required for this role

Master's degree in data science and mathematics preferred

Prior experiences related to ID Theft / Third Party Fraud
