Instructional Design InternLocation:Wilmington, Massachusetts2406617The Instructional Design Intern is an enthusiastic individual eager to delve deeper into the training sector. They will collaborate closely with Team Partners while also contributing individually. Their primary responsibility will be to work with and support Instructional Designers in creating different forms of training. While reporting to the Training Project Management Specialist, they will actively engage with all members of our Functional Training team.This position provides invaluable experience across multiple domains, including content development, foundational instructional design principles, teamwork, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly PowerPoint.Please note that this will be a hybrid position based at our corporate headquarters in Wilmington, MA, and will be for the summer internship cycle.Responsibilities:
Develops training materials for learners and instructors, such as eLearnings, instructor-led trainings, instructional guides, training documents, facilitator guides.
Works with an experienced instructional designer and subject matter experts to identify and determine the needs of the course and appropriate method of delivery based on what the end-users need to learn.
Demonstrates and utilizes effective needs analysis, course development, and evaluation skills, as well as knowledge of how people learn and on how to help them learn better.
Revises, rewrites, and structures content and activities to shape it for learning needs.
Provides QA support to align all training materials, including eLearning courses, Instructor guides, Participant Guides, PowerPoint Presentations, Job Aids and various forms of Reference guides to ensure standards are met.
QualificationsRequirements:
Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Human Resources, Education, or Training and Development program.
A strong interest in training and instructional design with a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Driven, hardworking, and has a positive attitude.
Proficiency in PowerPoint or similar tool experience needed. Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
Highly Organized
Proficient in Microsoft office, particularly PowerPoint and Word
Natural curiosity and willingness to learn.
Team player and willing to take a collaborative approach when necessary.
Highly organized
Can work with minimal supervision.
