Position: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Wilmington, DEDuration: 12+ monthsPay Rate: $30/hr on W2Shift Times: M-F:7am-4pmJob Summary:The Maintenance Technician will support building operations by performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting across various building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical). The role involves direct client interaction, adherence to safety codes, and maintaining documentation of completed work.We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join one of our Fortune 500 Healthcare clients.Responsibilities:
Assist with daily and emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, and inspections of building systems.
Estimate materials, order supplies, and complete work orders.
Install and modify equipment; troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and lighting systems.
Perform carpentry, furniture assembly, and minor locksmith tasks.
Respond to emergencies promptly, summon help when needed, and escort vendors as required.
Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:Must-Have:
High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of preventive maintenance experience.
Experience in an office setting with client interaction.
Skills:
Basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Basic Microsoft Office and work order system knowledge.
Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders and stairs.
